EMT - Basic Initial

Emergency Medical Technicians have many opportunities in the EMS field. These include firefighter, ambulance, emergency room technician, entertainment industry, concerts, sporting events, etc. Managing sick and injured people can be very satisfying and challenging. Course includes: Externship placement to one of our contracted providers:  Paramedics Plus, Royal Ambulance, Westmed Ambulance, Pro-Transport, and Norcal Ambulance, National Registry skills testing, and a BLS course.  

Students must purchase course materials prior to class approximate fee $170:  Brady Emergency Care 13th Edition and MyBradyLab- you will receive an email with a link and instructions to purchase materials with a promocode discount.  

Pre-requisites: High School Diploma or equivalent, Valid Identification Card.

Proof of immunizations must be provided during course with a copy of your healthcare card.

Students must clear a background check, approximate fee $75 and clean drug test, approximate fee $65.  A contracted vendor will perform service during course.

All tuition, charges and fees shall be disclosed to prospective students prior to enrollment and listed in the Catalog and Enrollment Agreement. STRF fees are $0.00. 

Once you register you will be contacted by to complete your application and enrollment process.  The application fee of $75 is a separate fee and non-refundable.   Students will be notified to purchase course text book once they enroll in the program.
