A School That Gives Back

Founded by healthcare professionals, we are a school that never stops caring for those who need it. Responding to local and far-reaching charities, we endeavor to serve those needing assistance. View some of our current and past charitable work below.

Toys for Tots 2024

Toys for Tots

Each year the students and faculty of American Health Education purchase toys and presents for disadvantaged children to brighten their holiday spirit. Through our school we look forward to having our donation bin overflowing with presents for children who normally wouldn’t receive a holiday gift.

Stanford Blood Center

On August of this year Students and Faculty participated in a school sponsored blood drive where we were able to donate dozens of units of blood for Stanford Medical Center and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. Facing a nationwide blood shortage AHE students, alumni and staff rolled up their sleeves to donate to a great cause.

Deployment

Hecel Oyate Ki Nipi Kte. (So that the people may live) AHE has partnered with Norcal ambulance and the Lakota Well Being project to combine resources to improve the quality of life to the Lakota Nation. Through deployment, AHE and NORCAL Ambulance provided education, expertise, medical screening, donations, and ground support to improve the health of the community on the Standing Rock Reservation.

Kids Against Hunger Food Donation

Every year in the fall, AHE faculty look forward to filling hundreds of bags of food for donation for impoverished children all over the world. These bags are then loaded onto trucks and sent across the globe to hungry children who need it the most.

AHE provided donations to support unhoused patients and families with financial barriers or have special needs children. Faculty, staff and students all chipped in to purchase, car seats, warm clothing and other necessities for the members of our community.

John Muir Health
Cancer Center Comfort Care

This year we wanted to give back to some of our great Bay Area Hospitals. John Muir Medical Center just opened up its new Cancer Treatment Center. AHE staff wanted the patients to be as comfortable as possible, so we stocked to comfort closet with warm comfy clothes for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
