Be Ready When It Counts: Smarter CPR Training with RQI

Traditional CPR classes can be time-consuming and hard to fit into a busy schedule. With American Health Education’s new RQI program, scheduling is simple and flexible—just a few clicks and you’re set. Complete your training online, from the comfort of your home, whenever it works best for you.

Through the American Heart Association’s Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) program and new Voice-Assisted Manikin (VAM) technology, healthcare professionals can achieve or renew their BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications faster—and with greater confidence.

How it Works

Why It’s a Game-Changer

Traditional CPR classes can take up to 4 hours in person. With RQI, most of the learning happens online, at your convenience. Then, instead of sitting through another classroom session, you’ll confirm your hands-on skills quickly with the VAM.

The VAM combines audio and visual feedback to help you master CPR skills in real time. As you practice, it gives immediate, corrective cues to build true competency—not just course completion.

The Science Behind RQI

Decades of research show CPR skills fade quickly with infrequent training. The old “every two years” model doesn’t reliably maintain bedside readiness. The American Heart Association developed RQI to ensure ongoing proficiency through shorter, more frequent, feedback-driven practice. With partners like American Health Education, this modern approach blends science, simulation, and data—so clinicians are always prepared to deliver high-quality CPR.
