American Health Education (“AHE”) collects and uses personal information solely for purposes related to EMT education, certification, and compliance with applicable state and federal law, including the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 9.

Information We Collect:

  • AHE may collect personal information including:
  • Name, contact information, and date of birth
  • Enrollment, attendance, examination, skills, and certification records
  • Payment and administrative records

Communications with students or applicants

Limited technical information (such as IP address) may be collected to maintain website functionality.

Use and Disclosure:

Personal information is used only to administer EMT training programs and to meet documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements of the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) and local EMS agencies.

AHE does not sell personal information.

Information may be disclosed only to instructors, service providers, certifying bodies, local EMS agencies, EMSA, or other government authorities as required for EMT training, certification, audits, or legal compliance.

Records Retention (Title 22):

Student education and training records are maintained in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 9, including applicable EMT training program record-retention requirements. Records are retained for the minimum period required by law and may be retained longer as necessary for regulatory or legal purposes.

Data Security:

AHE uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information.

California Privacy Rights:

California residents may request access to or correction of their personal information, subject to mandatory record-retention and disclosure requirements under Title 22 and other applicable laws.
